Skyfall Biological Plant in Geismar, LA

Skyfall biological plant in geismar la

This is a commercial project for a new biological plant south of Baton Rouge. The main scope of the work was a plaza outside of their office and a large quantity of parking spots featuring permeable pavers. This endeavor marks a step towards sustainable urban development while enhancing the aesthetic appeal and functionality of this work space.

Adjacent to the paver plaza lies a newly revamped parking area, showcasing the versatility and practicality of permeable pavers. Engineered to withstand heavy loads and vehicular traffic, these pavers offer a durable and low-maintenance solution for the client's parking needs. By utilizing permeable materials, we are not only enhancing the longevity of the parking area but also reducing heat island effects and improving overall air quality.

Unlike traditional paving materials, permeable pavers allow rainwater to infiltrate through the surface, reducing runoff and alleviating strain on stormwater systems. This eco-friendly solution promotes groundwater recharge, mitigates flooding risks, and helps maintain water quality by filtering pollutants. By harnessing the power of permeable pavers, we are contributing to a more sustainable environment while enhancing the longevity of our infrastructure.
