Amazing Rooftop Pavers at The Hotel Perle in New Orleans

Located at 757 St Charles Ave in the city of New Orleans, this job had unique challenges due to the limited access to the roof and the nature of the deck. Utilizing the Buzon Pedestal System and Hanover Pavers, we were able to meet the client's goals for the project! We also installed the treads and risers for the steps leading up to the pool deck.

The field of commercial pavers within the city of New Orleans is an interesting one as many projects are located on rooftops or balconies. When such a project comes to our attention, we know we will use pedestal paver systems to get the job done.

Here are the reasons why we use such a system as opposed to installing the pavers with conventional methods:

-Improved Drainage: You want your roof surface to be permeable to drain rainwater off the roof! When placing pavers on the earth, you use limestone to achieve a permeable paver structure but this is too heavy for a rooftop. This is where the pedestal system comes into play. The raised design allows water to flow freely beneath the pavers, preventing water accumulation and potential damage.

-Leveling and Stability: Pedestals help create a level surface, even on sloped or uneven substrates, ensuring the pavers remain stable.

-Easy Installation and Maintenance: The system allows for quick installation without mortar, and the pavers can be easily accessed or replaced for maintenance.
