Retaining Wall Project for Land Developer on Highland Rd
Our Client on this project is a land developing a 14 acre lot for mixed commercial use on Highland Rd in Baton Rouge and needed a retaining wall to maximize the usable land as the current grade had an 10 ft. drop in the rear of the property. The total wall was 323 ft. long ranging from 1ft. to 10 ft. tall. The wall block and cap material came from our good friends at Premier Concrete Products who make beautiful and functional blocks for both commercial and residential projects. On this particular project the native soil was a fat clay so we had to bring in lean soils for backfill and add additional drain lines. We are thankful for the developers hiring Mudbug Pavers to help them accomplish their project.
